Lots of Love Crochet Block

Hi :) Today, I'd like to share my quick and easy crochet project - "Lots of Love" Crochet Block. It'll make a perfect Valentine's coaster with cute little hearts on it: 

Here's the crochet pattern chart: 

Each new round, from Rnd 2 and up, begins with a standing stitch (for details, see my previous post) instead of a build up chain.  

Here's the written pattern, in case you prefer that to symbol crochet charts: 

Foundation: Sliding loop. 

Rnd 1: ch3 for build-up; 11dc in sliding loop; sl st in ch3 of initial build-up ch to join. 

Rnd 2: (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in space between 2 stitches, skip next space between 2 sts. Repeat 5 times around, sl st in first dc to join. 

Rnd 3: *(2dc, ch1, 2dc) in ch-1 space of Rnd2; skip 2dc, 2dc in space between 2dcs, skip 2dc**. Repeat from *to** 5 times around; sl st in 1st dc to join.

Rnd 4: (3hdc in ch-1 space of Rnd3; skip 2dc, 2hdc in space between 2 sts, skip 1dc, 2hdc in space between 2 sts, skip 1dc, 2hdc in space between 2 sts, skip 2dc) 6 times around; sl st in 1st hdc to join.
